Asphalt 7: Heat Review

Price: £0.69
Publisher: Gameloft
The Loading Screen
Asphalt 7:Heat is Gamelofts latest edition to the Asphalt series. It is a well polished game with 60 cars from manufacturers such as Lamborghini, Ferrari, Audi and Aston Martin.
The title screen is well presented giving you three playing options: Career, Quick Play and Multiplayer.
The Title Screen
Playing in career mode lets you take on racers in a wide variety of famous and not so famous cities in the world, buy upgrades for your car, buy some sponsors which give you boosts and buy new cars.

The career mode is lengthy and will take about a month to complete and buy all cars, (depending on how much time you spend playing the game). A typical race normally lasts between two and four minutes.
The Career Car Selection
Quick Play is very easy to use simply select the race mode then the map and finally the tier.
The Quick Play Menu
A tier is a group of cars with a certain performance level there are seven tiers with legends like the Bugatti Veyron and the Pagani Zonda and the not so fast mini cooper and Fiat 500 Abarth but are still great fun to drive.

The Multiplayer Menu
Multiplayer is available enabling you to race with people around the world using the cars you have unlocked and purchased from the career mode.
You can race online via a free Gameloft Live account or via local wifi. Multiplayer is a good experience with little to no lag.
The Online Multiplayer Menu
The gameplay was decent with great graphics and no lag while driving. The controls are easy to get used to no matter what device you are playing on.

The Verdict

Asphalt 7: Is a strong Racing game that will please all and for the asking price of £0.69. You can't go wrong.

10/10
